Location is Still the Golden Rule in Buy-to-Rent Real Estate

Contributing Writer, B2R Finance | Real Estate,Renters

A promising buy-to-rent location does not necessarily mean the most expensive area in town, or the area that will hopefully “turn around” in a few years. Promising means a place where people would like to live, raise a family, and make a home. Ask yourself the following questions:

1. Are there green space, parks and walking areas nearby?
2. Where in your town has a special appeal?
3. Are the transportation options convenient?
4. Where are schools for young families located, and are they any good?
5. Where do the college students want to live?

These questions might sound over simplistic, but they are a very important indicator of a successful buy-to-rent investment. What are your thoughts on location? Visit us at www.b2rfinance.com and follow us on Twitter @B2RFinance.
